Locks of hazel brown dress the Seeker as a crown atop a youthful visage marked by racial striping. Salmon pink eyes wander searchingly, soft and inquisitive - feline pupils strikingly rest centermost her coquettish, glossy stare.Full, burnished candy-orange lips compliment a matching feminine facial stucture, a narrow jawline and chin fixed against healthy, colorful cheeks and a dark, quaintly marked nose. A dusky burgundy tint shadows the lids of her eyes and charcoal depth is ample upon her lashes.Short statured and svelte, S'iha has a body befitting an academic and lacks any accentuated muscle definition. Yet-still, her ventures keep her within healthy form, and she does not dress to hide the hourglass of her figure. Definingly feminine characteristics are modest to match.Peachy pale, the Seeker's lack of sunlight cannot deprive her of the natural sunkissed tint that is her birthright. Though S'iha enjoys a variety of styles and clothing, she is most often seen in outfits befitting her occupation.Regal, frilly and adorned clothing. Most often lined with gold threading and matching ribbons, a spectacle of eye-catching extravagance. Her color palette, a mix of reds, pink and purple - contrasting her peachy complexion. Typically accompanied by a white blouse, decorative golden jewelry and a snug, ornamental choker.Mirrored southbound, the girl’s fashion sense is made obvious. Silken gloves, or feathery cuffs decorate her slender hands. Nails painted ruby red, lithe digits laced with expensive, gem-inlaid rings. Typically dressed in a skirt, it allowed for ample viewing of delicate, svelte thighs often guarded by skin-tight stockings and capped off by stylish pumps or thigh-riding boots. For anyone close enough to notice, S'iha unmistakeably carries the scent of coconut and mango shampoo and lotions. Mint upon her breath, and a rose-whiskey, heady perfume. In entirety, she was a spectacle of flirtatious elegance - regal, charming and daring.
WIP
Born in a canyony scape, in the far reaches of Thanalan's deserts as S'iha Nerra, among a rabble of sisters and brothers. This offshoot of the Zu tribe made their home upon rocky cliffsides, with villages spun from twig and twine that resembled the nests of the people's namesake. Their elaborate means of travel included ziplines, ropeswings and carefully crafted wooden bridges. And though rare, tamed Zu found themselves among the counted defenses of the skyward Miqo'te clan.Deep below their canyon abodes, in the very basins - was where S'iha and her people found their sustenance. Amidst vibrant, lush oasis - spawned from lifetimes of natural cultivation, care and protection afforded by the Zu tribe. The watering grounds of the very creature that defined their identity; a place of reverence and integral to their way of life. So it was that the Zu learned to climb, swing, hunt and thrive.
The context in which these rumors may apply to your character is up to you. Treat them as potential RP hooks.
(Adventurers, Mercenaries, Commonfolk) ■ Rumored to have traveled with adventurers and mercenaries in the past, offering her services as a court mage and aetherscribe. How they met, or for what purpose, is varied and the subject of great speculation.(Sharlayans) ■ S'iha has attracted the ire of some few scorned wives in Old Sharlayan; accused of being a homewrecker. Whether it be venemous heresay among jealous peers or an unguarded truth, S'iha perpetuates the rumor with coy amusement.(Seekers, Thanalan Denizens, Zu Tribe) ■ Supposedly, this Seeker makes an annual return to her birthplace in the Thanalan Deserts, to visit her tribe, the Zu. The context of her visits are for any to guess. The venture is discreet, and brief.(Anyone, Visual Prompt, Medical) ■ Sometimes seen coughing into a handkerchief. Clearly fatigued on some days, with the color drained from her skin. Perpetual, yet unseen most of the time, intentionally well hidden.(Mages, Witches, Aetherologists) ■ S'iha is known to adore mutual pursuits of greater knowledge, and finds herself drawn to other magic users. Ventures for arcane tomes, ancient ruins and the infinite unknown interest her greatly. Though she may not be truly ready for the potential dangers.(Court Mage, Aetherscribe) ■ If one was to have any relative knowledge of S'iha at all - her profession, and her talent, would be the first of it all. Need a scroll capable of warding, dispelling or fabricating protective barriers? Or a sorceress to unfuddle a parituclarly mischevious cantrip? S'iha could help.(Painter, Calligraphy) ■ Although S'iha uses her talents primarily in Aetherscribing, she is also fond of writing for hobby's sake, as well as painting landscapes and portraits. Though she does not typically sell her work, she could be convinced to take upon a muse. Provide a gorgeous view, be it in nature, marvel or person - and she will gleefully partake.
--- G-Pose+Shaders. I have no artistic talent IRL.
The Moon Though Anhri and S'iha met under the pretense of business, their bond was immediate as they found common ground in the pursuit of arcane knowledge and the absurdity of their dichotomous natures. The waifish lunar-witch immediately ensnared S'iha's adoration for occult sisterhood, and their budding relationship promised great mischiefs in the future.
Recipient of Bossyness They first travelled together when S'iha left her tribe and made for Old Sharlayan. Meeting again years later, with business made mutual for The Yielding Veil, they are companions and workmates oncemore. If nothing else, the rogue makes life more exciting for S'iha's otherwise mundane day-to-day.
Boss Lady The boss, the big lady, the Errant Blade. S'iha first met Rokuyo when she was recruited to The Yielding Veil, where Mrs Mizutani introduced S'iha to her duties in the company. In an unusual twist, S'iha is playfully smitten with the emotionally unavailable Doman, and adores Rokuyo's thousand-yard glare.
Grumpy Gleaner A companion and workmate from her earliest days in Sharlayan. The unusual duo have a habit of snooping out the oddest mysteries and requests. The well-traveled Xaela has aided S'iha in many hazardous requisitions, and times of late find them investigating dangerous misconduct at the heart of Sharlayan.
S'iha is most fascinated with his tales of travel and adventure.

» If you can't see the image to the left, turn off Dark Reader. As a general rule, I am looking for long term roleplay scenarios with players who are capable of producing interesting scenes and ongoing stories. I enjoy motivated writers who engage me in machinations of their own design, and returning the favor summarily. Slice of life has its place, as not everything needs to be chaos and progression, but I can't roleplay drinks in the Quicksand every day, it gets boring.Character Inspirations

S'iha's self-made profession is by all accounts built upon the foundation of the traditional Arcanist practice. The process of Aetherscribing is in short, the act of imbuing a scroll or painting with a dormant incantation.First off is preparations, where specialized ink or paint must be prepared with a variety of herbs, flowers, seeds, stones, gemstones and alchemical compounds. The ink/paint is then combined with elemental-aspected crystals reduced to a powder. The end result is the aetherically-influenced pigments used in her work.Secondly, the incantation. The scribe creating the piece must have an innate knowledge of the spell to begin with. One could not, for example-- bind the scroll with a draconic summoning spell, without first knowing how to do so themselves. A spell is written into parchment by identifying words, runes and glyphs that represent the spell and it's desired effect. An elaborate and precise display of calligraphy. For paintings, the image must simply represent the desired effect. Inaccurate detailing can often lead to unforeseen results. Regardless of the format in which the spell is being bound, the Aetherscribe must channel a latent, steady flow of Aether during their work, along with the specialized pigments prepared earlier.Essentially the Scribe is preparing the spell ahead of time, and giving it a dormant physical form. The Aether required to generate the spell is put forth in the process of creation, and summarily - the act of using the scroll or painting requires no Aether nor knowledge of the spell they aim to use. Put plainly, a dullard could use it.Finally, and of course most importantly is safety. Each scroll is sealed with a wax seal which prevents accidental activation of the scribe's work or complications with stagnant Aether. The wax used is produced in a similar fashion to the aetherically-infused ink and paint and is made to emulate an aetherical padlock. Break the seal, and the spell is ready for use.

Though Old Sharlayan lacked a royalty to serve, the phrase ‘Court Mage’ had nonetheless inspired the namesake of the group of Aetherologists and Sorceresses that would form a uniquely dipositioned guild in the city-state. While the Forum managed matters of political grandeur, the Lodge would handle menial, inter-city debaucles and challenges. While not officially recognized as a linking segment of Sharlayan’s council and government, the ‘guild’ gained some small measure of a reputation for their work, and operated in a fashion similar to Gleaners. Many of the Lodge’s mages continued active study, whilst working from within the guild. And due to the unofficial nature of the Lodge and its services, payment for the mage’s service was typically commission based. The task’s difficulty and length would determine the pay - usually haggled between any given mage and their would-be employer. Unfortunately, the work was not entirely glamorous. For what would one hire a sorcerer or sorceress for? The contractual obligations of a court mage rarely saw crystalline definition. They were not mercenaries. Instead, most would be hired as advisors, or bookkeepers. Helping manage one’s own household and affairs. Though this triviality was just one of countless mundane tasks the mage’s would find themselves tasked with. Little better than a harlot on their back, some mage’s found themselves hired as political arm candy in games of popularity and expressions of wealth - serving as dinner dates and a pretty smile for the senseless rich. S’iha was no exception to this drollery.Having joined the Lodge some few months after first arriving in Sharlayan and beginning her studies - S’iha undertook her work in earnest. She found most of her work in producing protective charms for traveling gleaners and traders who came and left by sea. Though as fate saw it fit, she was also powerless to avoid commissions of a more superficial nature. Countless nights spent tidying houses, sorting tomes in the Noumenon, retrieving lost property, copying texts and acting the painful part of discreet courtesan to professors and politicians alike.S’iha later found her stride performing a majority of her work within the Lodge as an Aetherscribe, the self-coined term she had begun using for her unique method of practice in the arcane arts. Though she now works for Yielding Veil Holdings as an advisor, secretary and aetherscribe - she did so under the contract of a Court Mage. S’iha continues to make regular returns to Old Sharlayan in order to develop advancements in aetherscribing and maintain her studies.
